Rubber Floors

Discover the Sphere8 alternative to sheet rubber floors

Stylish and practical alternative

Most rubber flooring companies offer sheets of vinyl or rubber – meaning they are almost seamless throughout most interior spaces. At Sphere8 our floors are poured in layers of resin, making them completely seamless throughout any interior space. We are able to work within any space over several floors – including drains, manholes, stairs and curved edges. Furthermore, unlike with rubber, you don’t have to pay extra for any wastage or cutting, whatever the size or shape of your floors – you will only pay for the exact area you cover. Furthermore our quoted prices include all labour and materials – no third-party costs to consider.

Experts in resin floors

Rubber flooring that is supplied in sheets will often require you to source a third-party fitter for your floors. At Sphere8 we are committed to providing a complete service, so you feel confident and comfortable throughout your project, dealing with the same team and your own dedicated project planner. We will carry out site surveys as necessary to understand the site, note any details you may have missed and to confirm the readiness of the subfloor. Our expert teams of installers will then fit and install your floors, pouring in layers that are allowed to dry or ‘cure’ overnight, with an average installation taking approximately 5 working days.

Complete design flexibility

The other great benefit of Sphere8 over rubber floors is the versatility in design and colour. Whilst rubber or vinyl flooring is often available in a wide range of colours, our poured resin is available in any bespoke colour of your choice, with our innovative colour-match service – we could match a preferred paint swatch or fabric sample, or ensure your flooring conforms to commercial brand guidelines. Alternatively you can choose from our carefully curated range of colours – one collection of which is specifically designed to imitate the finish of polished concrete. We would also be more than happy to provide samples of these various options – available from our London showroom.

Similar advantages

In many other ways our poured resin floors are very similar to a rubber alternative. Poured resin is equally durable, easy to clean and maintain and able to withstand daily traffic in both domestic and commercial environments. As a certified member of the Resin Flooring Association (FeRFA), here at Sphere8 we are experts in resin flooring, with years of experience. Our installers have worked throughout London and the UK for many years, on hundreds of residential and commercial projects – giving you peace of mind that you have trusted your resin floors to the experts.

Easy-to-maintain

Compared to the high maintenance of vinyl or rubber, Sphere8 floors have a lifespan of over 35 years (over ten times that of vinyl on average) – requiring minimal maintenance in the years to come, and seriously reducing overall costs. It is also an environmentally-sustainable option that is still elegant and attractive. Our eco-friendly resin floors use natural plant biopolymers that are safe for you and the environment. These non-toxic biopolymers are completely safe, release no harmful emissions and are wholly free from harmful solvents and impurities.
