Slip-resistant and seamless

One of the most important requirements for restaurant flooring is a safe, durable, non-slip surface that can withstand all kinds of traffic. Our ToughSphere restaurant flooring is resistant to everything from food and wine to cigarettes – whilst also providing an anti-slip friction that is effective even when wet. Ideal for restaurant traffic! Incorporated into the build-up of a standard Sphere8 flooring, this does not detract from the versatility of our seamless surfaces.

Durable and practical

Because our restaurant flooring is so durable, it offers a cost-effective option for high-traffic areas. A Sphere8 floor is easy to clean and maintain, with minimal effort required – making it the ideal solution for a busy public area. Our pigments are UV-stable and incorporated into the several poured layers that are applied by hand, building up to approximately 4mm.

Versatile design options

At Sphere8 we know that the design of your floor is just as important as its practical characteristics – which is why your chosen restaurant flooring system won’t affect your choice of colour or design. Our ToughSphere restaurant flooring is available in any colour, whether chosen from our specifically chosen range or a bespoke colour as part of our colour-match service. Any of these options are possible with the ToughSphere flooring technology, so you don’t’ have to choose between your practical and aesthetic requirements.

Polished Concrete Alternative

Alternatively you can choose to imitate the finish of polished concrete, with one of our carefully curated grey shades that imitate the tones and natural movement of this material. Many of our clients are looking to recreate this finish, without the cold, hard finish of concrete itself. Our poured resin flooring is also much easier to clean, less likely to tarnish and designed to withstand cracking – unlike the brittle nature of polished concrete. For a practical environment like a restaurant, these considerations are even more important, but with a ToughSphere flooring solution you can create the effect you want without sacrificing the practical benefits of a safer and more durable floor.
